Rosé is a type of wine that gets some of its color from the grape skins, but not enough to classify it as a true red wine. Depending on how long the grape skins remain in contact with the liquid, rosé can range in color from a soft pink to an electric hot pink. While most rosé wines are dry, other varieties produced can boast sweet or off-dry flavors.
