Rosemary Greyhounds

The bracing flavor of rosemary makes a statement in this vodka-based cocktail that's bold enough to stand up to smoked and other bold Wisconsin cheeses.

Cooking Instructions

For rosemary vodka:

Place rosemary in jar with vodka. Seal and shake. Set aside in cool dark place and steep 12 hours. Strain and chill.


For cocktails:

Cover grapefruit rounds with 1 tablespoon sugar. Using kitchen torch or broiler, brûlée sugar until brown and crunchy. Slice rounds into wedges.

Fill 6 rocks glasses with ice. Place 2 ounces vodka, 1 ounce Rosemary Vodka and juice from half grapefruit in each glass. Stir. Top off with splash of soda water (if using), 1 sugared rosemary sprig and brûléed grapefruit rounds.


Serve with a bold Wisconsin blue cheese.
