Line two 12-capacity cupcake pans with paper liners. Remove 1 tablespoon cake mix to small bowl and toss with chocolate chips. Prepare remaining cake mix according to package directions, stir in 1/4 cup chocolate chips and fill cupcake liners 2/3 full. Sprinkle about 1/2 teaspoon remaining chocolate chips over top of each cupcake. Bake as directed on package. Remove to rack and cool completely.

Meanwhile, in bowl of electric mixer, mix cream, malted milk powder and cocoa on low until well blended. Add mascarpone and beat on low until smooth. Increase speed to medium and beat until thickened and spreading or piping consistency. Spread or pipe frosting over cupcakes and garnish with berries and white chocolate.
