Berry Banana Ricotta Oatmeal

Oatmeal and Wisconsin Cheese may not be the most obvious food pairing, but trust us, this warm, comforting combination is about to become your winter staple.

In a cast iron skillet or medium saucepan over medium-low heat, stir together rolled oats, water, milk and salt. When oatmeal begins to thicken, stir in mashed banana and mix well. Let cook 1-2 minutes more, or until oatmeal is fluffy and thick. Turn off heat. Add 1/3 cup ricotta, honey and cinnamon. Taste and adjust oatmeal as needed, adding more honey for sweetness and ground cinnamon for spice.

For serving, top each bowl with strawberries, almonds, honey and 1 tablespoon of the remaining ricotta. Eat immediately.
