Cook pasta according to package directions; drain.

Meanwhile, sauté onion in butter in a Dutch oven until crisp-tender. Reduce heat to medium-low. Add garlic; cook and stir for 1 minute. Whisk in flour until combined. Gradually whisk in milk, tomato sauce and Italian seasoning. Bring to a boil; cook and whisk for 2 minutes or until thickened. Reduce heat to low; gradually stir in 2 1/2 cups mozzarella until melted. Add pasta and pepperoni; heat through, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat. Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella.


Recipe Tip:
  • If your family loves a specific pizza sauce, swap in their favorite in place of the tomato sauce and Italian seasoning.
  • Any brand of Wisconsin mozzarella cheese can be used.
