Spinach and Strawberry Salad with Gouda Cheese

Servings: 6


1/4 cup orange juice
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon orange peel, grated
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1/8 teaspoon paprika
4 cups spinach leaves
1 pint strawberries, stemmed, halved
1 cup cubed Wisconsin gouda cheese
1/2 cup pecan or walnut halves

Cooking Directions:

In a small, tight-lidded container, combine the orange juice, oil, honey, orange peel, garlic salt, and paprika for dressing; cover tightly. Shake well; set aside.

In a large salad bowl, toss spinach leaves, strawberries, gouda, and nuts with dressing. Refrigerate for later, or serve immediately.
