Buttermilk Blue and Asian Pear Salad

1 Asian pear
1 ounce walnut oil
1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
3 ounces Wisconsin buttermilk blue cheese
1 ounce walnut pieces, toasted
1/2 teaspoon fresh chives, minced
Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking Directions:

Core and slice Asian pear and fan out on plate. Combine oil and vinegar and drizzle on pear. Crumble and sprinkle cheese on pear. Sprinkle with toasted walnuts and minced chives.
