Ingredients:
2 cups cut green beans, cooked and drained
1/2 pound lean ground meat (beef, lamb, pork, or turkey)
1 tablespoon flour
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
2 eggs, lightly beaten
2 cups (8 ounces) cream-style Cottage Cheese or cream-style Cottage Cheese with
chives, drained
1/4 cup (1 ounce) Wisconsin Parmesan cheese, grated
1/4 cup sliced ripe olives
Cooking Directions:
Spread green beans evenly over the bottom of a 10x6x2 inch baking dish; set aside. In a medium skillet cook meat until brown; drain off fat. Stir in flour, garlic salt, and cinnamon. Add tomato sauce all at once; cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Spread meat mixture over green beans in baking dish; set aside.
In a medium mixing bowl, stir together eggs, cottage cheese, and Parmesan cheese. Spoon cottage cheese mixture over meat layer. Bake at 350° F for 25 minutes or until heated through. Sprinkle with ripe olives. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
