1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
1/4 cup chopped onions
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
Prepared pizza crust
1 cup (4 ounces) shredded Wisconsin Mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup sliced green olives
1 can (6 ounces) whole mushrooms, drained
1/2 cup (2 ounces) grated Wisconsin Parmesan cheese
Mix together tomato sauce, onion, garlic salt and oregano. Spread over unbaked pizza crust. Sprinkle with shredded Mozzarella. Sprinkle sliced green olives and mushrooms over top. Top with grated Parmesan. Bake at 425° F for 20 to 30 minutes until crust is light brown and cheeses are melted.
Be imaginative with your pizza! Add chopped green bell peppers or pickled banana peppers. Sprinkle with browned Italian sausage, salami bits, cut-up anchovies or thin slices of pepperoni. Dream up your own favorite pizza topping.
