6 tablespoons butter1/3 cup flour1/4 teaspoon garlic powder1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg1/8 teaspoon ground white pepperDash ground thyme1 can (13 3/4 ounces) chicken broth1 cup milk3 cups bite-size broccoli flowerets1 cup whipping cream1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce1 cup (4 ounces) shredded Wisconsin cheddar cheese1/2 cup (2 ounces) shredded Wisconsin havarti cheese1/2 cup (2 ounces) shredded Wisconsin Swiss cheese
Melt butter in 3 quart saucepan over low heat. Blend in flour and seasonings. Gradually add broth and milk; cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. Stir in broccoli; simmer 10 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in cream, Worcestershire sauce and hot pepper sauce. Add cheeses; stir until melted.
