Asiago and Mushroom Beef Stroganoff

Cooking Instructions

Heat canola oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir steak until no longer pink. Remove meat and juices from the pan; keep warm.

Melt butter in the skillet over medium heat. Sauté onion and mushrooms until tender. Reduce heat. Add garlic; cook and stir for 1 minute. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, mustard and paprika. Add beef and juices back to pan; toss and heat through.

Add wine, stirring to loosen any browned bits from bottom of skillet. Stir in stock; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low. Add noodles; cook for 8-10 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally.

Remove skillet from the heat. Add asiago; stir until melted. Stir in sour cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped parsley and asiago if desired.
