Preheat oven to 400° F. Combine ground beef, salsa and black beans. In a greased 2-quart round casserole dish, layer 1 tortilla, 2/3 cup beef mixture and 1/2 cup cheese; repeat layers three times. Bake for 30 minutes or until heated through.Variation: For authentic Mexican flavor, substitute shredded queso blanco asadero or queso quesadilla for monterey jack.
