1 pound ground beef, browned and drained1 1/2 cups prepared salsa1 can (15 ounces) black beans, drained4 medium flour tortillas2 cups (8 ounces) Wisconsin Monterey jack cheese, shredded
Heat oven to 400°F. Combine ground beef, salsa and black beans. In a greased 2-quart round casserole dish, layer 1 tortilla, 2/3 cup beef mixture and 1/2 cup cheese; repeat layers three times. Bake for 30 minutes or until heated through.Variation: For authentic Mexican flavor, substitute shredded queso blanco asadero or queso quesadilla for Monterey jack.
