Mozzarella Melt Joes

Servings: 4


1 pound ground beef
1/4 cup red bell pepper, diced
1/4 cup onion, diced
3/4 cup ketchup
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
3 tablespoons brown sugar, packed
1 teaspoon dried oregano
4 burger buns
4 slices Wisconsin mozzarella cheese

Cooking Directions:

In medium skillet brown beef. Add red pepper and onion, cook 3 minutes. Drain. Add ketchup, garlic salt, brown sugar and oregano. Spoon mixture onto bun bottom; top with Mozzarella and bun top. Serve.

Provolone may be substituted for Mozzarella.
